@fenderplayer489 I hate to tell you but that thing is running wfo.

Finally, someone who knows how to operate a machine well enough to know, the lower rpms, the less wheel spin, and someone who knows how to hold a fucking camera still.

This is a 17A. You can tell by the small instrument panel and the throttle lever stand. (Yeah, I know it doesn't have a throttle!) RPMs under load about 1200. This machine could use some more grouser so if you run out of things to do one winter you could spend a few (hah!) hours welding some new grouser on. I have a 17A with about 85% grouser and it pushes very nicely. Pushed, actually. Needs some work. Great video -- thanks for posting!

Thanks for posting these old machines working. It was more enjoyable working those old machines in a way. didn't have the air conditioning and they were noisy but didn't seem to beat you to death because you were working slower. Now days everything is about speed it seems, everyone is in a hurry.

@maplemanz Ever see a Caterpillar truck engine? You can do the same thing to them. Run them up a hill a REALLY lug them down, and the older ones will pull right out of it without a problem....like my 3406B
