Mazda 787B 202 R26B Warming Up

mazda made this 787B-003 #202 car for JSPC(Japan Sports Prototype Championship) in 1991 because they decide to keep #55 car permanently in memory of the le mans champion. and Mazda reworked the chassis for the short distance(1000km race like Fuji) with the smaller radiator and the removed headlight for lightening.

広島市交通科学館 レースカー走行イベントでの午前の走行前ウォーミングアップ（展示で撮影した映像含む）。なおこの787B 202号車は1991年国内1000kmレース仕様となる787B 3台目の車で、ル・マン優勝車#55ではありません。RX-7スーパー耐久参戦車両も同日見ましたが、やはりR26Bは格別ですね。人はエンジン音で感動できるんですね。

Such an amazing machine. It's a little odd seeing the colors inverted though. This body style looks a lot sleeker though w/o the lights in front.
