How does all this talk of quick transformation work into the life of someone who grew up in a Christian home and has a slow growing faith?

Pastor Mark Driscoll answers this question as part of a live "Ask Anything" session in which audience members SMS questions to the pulpit to be answered in real time.

This question was answered in the broader context of a sermon entitled "Faith & Works" which can be found at http://www.marshillchurch.org/media/religionsaves/faith-works

  • @Suparockstaa Same here...

  • @desasterz If you're worried you committed that sin, you haven't committed that sin. I and many others have felt the same way and thought we committed it. But Jesus is referring to actually knowing Him and speaking evil against Him. People saw His miracles, knew they were from God, and and spoke evil against Him still. Satan and the other fallen angels knew God and went against Him. So don't worry. You don't 'regenerate' the Holy Spirit. It's still there. All the best and God bless.

  • I'm almost sure I've comited blasphemy aganst the holly spirit. How do I get regenerated again?

  • God bless

  • The fruit on the tree behind Mark looks for all the world like tomatoes. o.o
