Define parental rights on CI issue

Parents loose their "shield" of parental rights while taking medical consent away from child's and implant CI. Fearful propagandas are their real reasons when they thought that they are entitled to having parental rights. Actually they rest down their shield and let the higher officials, doctors, and society with faulty thoughts to regulate their deaf child's life. Advocates of children's rights are against this and emphasize that the children should have greater autonomy than their parents'.

Should parents also ask their babies for permission for heart surgery to repair defects in the heart? Should parents ask their babies what kind of food they'd like to eat? Should parents ask for consent when giving their kids antobiotics or other medicine?

This is ridiculous... I understand you're anti CIs but it's absurd to the highest degree to expect parents to wait for consent from their children to use CIs when they don't need to ask for consent for anything else.

@rilus If the parents try something without the child's consent on this CI or other medical issues if that child understands well enough what is going on, that child should take legal action against the parents, and obtain a court injunction preventing the parents from forcing them into a medical procedure of ANY KIND without consent of both the child and in major medical procedure cases, the consent of a justice or judge of the nearest family/juvenile or general trial court.

I would bring justice to those people who did this, and yet justice would be a joke. I would not ever let anyone do this to my own child, and yet it still happened to someone like you? Parents should not have the rights to put CI's on Deaf babies and Children. CI's do not enable their children to hear normally as a hearing person, and yet the child desperately still needs sign language anyway, which is ASL, not other mode...s, or forms of communication... Except ASL which is from real people of Deaf Culture which will nurture all Deaf children to be normal human beings. CI's and AVT, and using other modes or forms of communication is a practice of QUACKERY (continued)

not the hearing community who have not understood what it is like being Deaf, and unfortunately since Adam and Eve, parents promote oppression and think audism is supreme, not Deaf Identity and Deaf Culture/Natural Sign Language!
