I made a rule for myself when I started jumping. Any canopy I jump must be bigger than my bath towel....

bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

If you're trying to swoop, yes. The dive is how you gain momentum to swoop over long distances w/ high speed.

Very nice.

Wow. That thing looks like a handkerchief compared to my canopy.

IS IT NECESSARY to dive before you land?
-
Do you have to dive in to get a safe landing like Luigi in his VX39?I mean to ask does your chute have a very high sink rate?whats the area? Thanks.

very smooth landings

Hey Brian,
I'm new, but just bought my first rig and am going to take a canopy course from FasTrax next week in Orange, VA.
I'm just dang curious how fast you're going when you come out of that dive and start swooping. The sound of wind through the lines is awesome.
Nice work!

The airspeed on approach is about 64-65 mph decent rate after a 270 degree turn, 74-45 mph after a 630. Ground speed varies with wind conditions.

I will continue the testing. When it is done, I will let everyone know. I am taking my time with this one, it's too important to screw up...

I am building a new proto 101 this week. Each new size gets me closer to the release date.

Believe it or not, I designed and built this one in my basement.
