I think it's just your garden variety water beetle . . . but it's trapped within a keychain, of course. :)
Heh, okay. The UMSO pen thing is an inside joke. We were all part of an organization called UMSO, and we spread the word about it by handing out those pens to people. The joke was that we had A LOT of pens. So they kept popping up everywhere.
I don't know . . . it's one of those things where you kinda had to be there. :)
