No. You may have noticed that throughout the book and movie, It appears to the Losers individually in different forms (mummy, werewolf, etc.), representing their worst fears, and when he gets them as a group, he's a clown, because it's likely that more than one are afraid of clowns.

@TheEXpothead Read the Wikipedia bit about what "IT" really is and it'll fix the story for you :). IT's not really a spider at all, IT has no physical form within the physical universe. And they didn't kill IT, they simply killed IT's presence on Earth by channeling the power of IT's archenemy, another (benevolent) entity who also exists outside of the physical realm.
