  • Wad size for the front n rear spoket are u using? And the chain?

  • @Mamannur

1 tooth up in the front

1 tooth down in the back

stock chain, I grease the chain

  • Thanks, I am actually selling this bike when I go back to Thailand (has 2000km on the clock), I prefer the yamaha speed mx 2 stroke rocket I have, that thing is nasty

I did up a NSR150 proarm when I was there, that thing is wicked on the highway, I'll do a rebore though, seems like the piston needs to be tighter. My hello kitty bike will smoke the NSR though. X1 has a rebore to 125cc and a Akunar race cam, the bike is reverted back to the stock pipe and footpegs ~~its a sleeper now.

  • I am currently looking for aftermarket exhaust pipes for this out of production Yamaha X-1 bike. Any bros in Phillipine/Thailand/Indonesia/Malaysia or other parts of the world care to help me out. Btw, I am from Singapore.

  • @sujak84

the pipe on my bike says "duhan"

An old trick from the US is to weld a big drill bit onto a rod and drill out the pipes baffles.

  • @sonyshooter

thanks for the reply dude. When you say drill out the pipes, you are referring to the stock pipes right?

Anyway, how much does your DUHAN cost you? I can get a NOB1 here in Singapore for ard US$50.. It's dirt cheap but i want to see if there are cheaper alternatives..

  • @sujak84

600 thai baht or less than $20

yep drill out a stock pipe with a 1/2 drill bit

I had to install the stock pipe for a reg. check, not much difference between the aftermarket one, just sound is quieter. See my mikuni mod video, and check the blog on the bike, the URL is at the end of the vid. I also have the 2 snorkle tubes on the top of the airbox removed, you will have to raise the carbs needle clip 1 notch for that.
