Do you workout along with juggling ?? Streching or weights ?? Cuz i think it would help to avoid injury.

My worst injury happened just a few days ago , lol. I had gotten a bit of a wound on my hand but it wasn't super bad so I could still juggle, but the worst part was that one of my russian balls were leaking a bit of salt, lol, Long story short, it really does hurt like shit if you get even just a little salt in a wound.

i haven't hurt myself from juggling yet (probably because of weight training) but i have experienced some burning in my arms. Is this okay , because I've been told that when you feel a burn that means an exercise is working?

Thank you. Thank you for taking time to post this very important message.. who would have ever thought that such a benign activity could lead to injury. I am amazed when i hear jugglers say that they spend more than 2 hours a day juggling.
If anyone really feels they need that much time, I would hope that the time is not spent consecutively. I think it would be wise to chop up the practice into a few small segments of practice time throughout the day.

You have given good advice. All of use that have been injured will agree with you. Those who have not been injured yet will likely not listen.

by that time, my doctor told me to stop for about a year... boy that freaked me out! but i got better soon and began to train my arm muscles and I never got any serious problems again.
I also suffer from an inflamation of my left wrist. I got it from playing the guitar too much, long time ago. Sadly, it never healed completely. The funny thing is that juggling strengthened my wrist that much, that it feels better and more stably than before. Listen to ur body!
Greets!

What you say is true, i got inflamations in my elbows by juggling to much and i had to stop too. but it took me a long time before i really stoped, i always tried just to continue a little bit, but i learned that if ur injured, u have to stop immediately, otherwise it's just going to take more time to recover or u injure jurself even more! ....................

i know what you are talking about, like a year ago i injured my wrist juggling, and had to stop juggling for three weeks or so. thats why i always warm up before now, and i didn't have any injury since that one.
Thank you guys for your comments and stories!
