  • "a whole life never lived, no family ,nothing ,no children ,no oportunity to have satisfaction of building the life ,nothing " -sad but true

  • There was a time when being a paratrooper was perhaps worth the risk even in economic terms. A WW-2 PFC paratrooper was shoved into training & combat for 2 years, was compensated at a level equivalent to a Sergeant First Class in today’s terms, and upon demobilization was awarded 100% unemployment for a year and 100% university fees //including// room & board.

Today's soldiers get NADA, ZIP, BUPKISS, ZERO, ZILCH, GOOSE EGG, NEGGITS, hit the road GI you are not welcome, go somewhere and die.
