i find it peculiar that they'd do the live version with full band from the start. one of my favourite aspects of this song is the solitude his voice cries so strongly over the harmonium and the synths during the first half. it really fits the lyrical content.. but then when he's about to fall apart, his band comes in, lifts him up and they cross the thresh hold in solidarity.
