Ezra Taft Benson-Warning

This is a excerpt from a talk given at BYU in 1966 entitled "Our Immediate Responsibility".

Benson believed that a communist/socialist conspiracy was working within our country to subtly drive us, like cattle, into communism.
Many are finding the election of Obama to be evidence of this, but please consider how nicely he has been setup by the Bush and Clinton administrations' executive power grabs. If you think that republicans aren't in on this as well, you are thinking foolishly. Bush and McCain are also socialists.

After the fall of the Soviet Union, Communism spread through the world under new and deceptive names; "Democracy" and "Capitalism". Not to be confused with the free market capitalism that Americans used to believe in. The secret combination, within our own country, has been plotting the overthrow of the world's free people for nearly a hundred years, but their plan is at its climax. These are the powers that Benson was talking about, not just about the U.S.S.R.

Congressional Investigations of Communist Infiltration 1918-1975

Overman Commitee (1918-1919); The Fish Committee in the 1930's; Special Committee on Un-American Activities 1934-37 (This eventually became the House Committeee on Un-American Activities (HUAC)); Special Investigation Committee (1938–1944), aka The Dies Committee (mostly Nazi & KKK investigation); House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC) became a permanent committee in 1945. HUAC was abolished by Congress in 1975.
