Chilling scene from this great film. I know that views are divided on this film (and its subject matter) but, in my opinion, Syriana is one of the great films of all-time.

I'm still unclear; what is it (or who is it) Bennett Holiday offers up as a "2nd body" to the DOJ ...? He (and his superior Sidney Hewitt) meet with Leland Janus to announce the merger, but Holiday says there's just "one minor detail" ... who is it he and Jimmy Pope offer up?

Great scene from what is (imho) a great film.
I like to think that after Clooney's character is killed at the end his mates track down and kill this fellow.

I like this film - it shows sad and bitter truth in our political life. George Clooney always showed one and the same typical acting but Finally he looked great and not monotonous. But I still think that he didn't deserve the Oscar - just because he showed nice serious acting (for the first time by the way) doesn't mean that they should give him the Oscar. Academics and critics are as corrupted as politicians. Sad, very sad but I still love this film very much

Such an awesome clip. He is really lucky to have met the people he did in researching for Syriana.

Compare this scene to the one where Whiting rips the Prince a new asshole. Here, Bob very coolly shows Whiting that there are depths that had not previously occurred to him. Clooney's character is relaxed, ordering coffee and even looking at the waitress and thanking her. The Bob character is clearly a professional killer.
