In a span of 6 rounds he did this 23 times. Everytime Pac does it Clottey takes advantage. But Clottey covers up as soon as Pac is ready to return fire.

What do you think, is he resting? Is he trying to make it a more exciting fight for the fans? I think he's baiting Clottey to open up. See the 0:50 mark as Pac unleashes his attack. Clottey quickly covered up.

Pac shouldnt do this to mayweather though, it wont work, and mayweather is too smart to get bait like that. Both pac and mayweather have really good precisions and timing, except mayweather takes his time. Pac would just give mayweather extra points if he does that.

@Mike9798999 How many boxers do you know that can throw 1200 punches? Mayweather can barely throw half of that. Pacquiao's defense style isn't absorbing them, He can easily slip and evade punches. He toys around with his opponents like he did with Cotto, Clottey and Margartio. This is coming from a person whos favorite fighter is J. Chavez Sr.

Pacquiao will destroy anyone at Welterweight even J. Chavez Sr. He is the greatest of all time with Chavez Sr. and Mayweather as runner-up.
