Robotech The new Generation
This is the third installment of the ever popular Robotech series. This series takes place after the masters saga which some call the Southern Cross saga in America. The premise starts with the Mars force coming back to Earth to stop the newest threat the Invid. During this saga they went back to heavy transforming mecha. In this you are introduced to transforming motorcycles known as cyclones and the first views of the beta cycles. As far as villains you have the Invid of course but also viligalantes and Invid sympathizers. You are introduced also to a cross dressing hero/singer Lancer/Yellow Dancer. During the whole conflict he is singer various songs like: Lonely Soldier Boy, Look up the Sky is falling amongst others. You are also introduced to Scott Bernard who lost his love Marlene while their ship was crashing through the atmosphere. Rook and Rand freedom fighters who also join Scott Bernard on his mission to Reflex Point the Invid strong hold.

Where to start this is one of my favorite American series. It tends to get slow in some episodes. Average episode is only about 15 minutes once you take out the beginning and ending which makes it a short series. The plot does get rushed in areas and dragged out in others.
