melodeon.net TOTM for February 2010
My first go at the "tune of the month" (good game, this!).
Played as a morris tune, and then as a waltz, on Oakwood D/G melodeon.
I haven't played for Cotswold morris for years, and never this tradition, so I'm guessing at the timing of the slows, based on what I've heard others play. Despite its popularity as a waltz tune, I'm not convinced this tune is really a waltz, whatever you do with it. It just seems to have too many significant beats in the wrong places - still, I though I'd have a go and see how much contrast I could get.
really interesting to hear the two styles of accompaniment

Fantastic and the box sounds wonderful. I'll be looking more closely at your left hand too as I seek to go beyond oom-pah :) .. thanks .. cheers Bryson

Beautiful. For someone who hasn't played for Morris for years and has never played Sherborne, your Orange in Bloom is very danceable and has plenty of lift.
