A small TeslaCoil fully made of acrylic plastic. The cool thing about this is that every part is transparent. This coil is driven by the power supply of my large DC Teslacoil. Total height 44cm, max output voltage +- 380.000 Volts (57cm arc length).

The rotary gap is placed underneath the base of the teslacoil, this makes it shine nicely into the dark.

As you might notice, there is no earth strikering above the primary coil. I did not make it because i thought it simply wasnt nessecary, lets jus say the results outperformed my wildest expectations.

For your primary winding, did you use solid copper wire or braided wire? I cannot seem to find any solid copper wire that thick.

If you did use solid wire, could you please tell me what supplier you used?

  • @chainmailmaker1 This coil has a 3mm solid wire, used for transformer windings. It was from a local supplier (in the Netherlands). You can use a smaller wire as the thickness is more aesthetic than functional. You get more losses by the skin effect, but that is the least of your worrys.

  • If you live in San Antonio, Texas and you think you can build a Closed-Circuit Tesla Coil I can show you how to turn it into a Flying Saucer Propulsion System without equal . It must be Finely Tuned to be just Barely Beneath Arching Potential ! We can have the System patented under both our names and get filthy rich from the royalties . I already have the Coil Winder! Please contact me at once. I live in San Antonio too. Please only serious enquiries ! No curiousity seekers.

  • @TeslaCommander

Can you show your circuit ?

  • Nice tidy workmanship, thanks for sharing :)

  • Not bad, If you want to impress me, run it backwards and draw power out of the atmosphere. Then use it to light a bulb 25 miles away.

Nice video, and very professional looking Tesla coil.

  • @chainmailmaker1 He likely used copper water pipe - that's a very common way to build them.

  • Ausome tesla coil, does anyone know the name of the background music?

  • Грамотно!!И красиво!

Одно замечание - я бы не стал покрывать катушку лаком.может воспламенится.

    лучше - силиконовый герметик.

  • @VloquendoV Yeah but I think he just made the third type lol.
