Fireworks in Taipei, Taiwan in honor of Double Ten day, the annual celebration of the start of the Wuchang Uprising which led to the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty of China and the establishment of the Republic of China. The Wuchang Rebellion started on October 10, 1911, making this the 99th anniversary of the event.
Fireworks were held later in the evening over the Danshui River at the western end of Minsheng Rd. I managed to watch these from my apartment in Neihu, around 10km away!
The fireworks start slow, but get better around halfway in.
