Originally the mighty diamonds song was pass the koutchie: slang for marijuana pipe—"how does it feel when you got no herb?"
Because of their age, the musical youth had it changed to dutchie (food, cooking pot).
—"how does it feel when you got no food?"

no, not at all. actually, "dutchie, or "dutchy" is a jamaican cooking pot, whereas "kutchie" is the bowl of a chalice or a chillum pipe and not a term for marijuana (i.e. weed, sensi, ganja, etc.) ... zeen?

@tonid5573 Musical Youth covered the original "Pass The Koutchie", and renamed it "Pass The Doutchie".
A little confusing!

@AddisVids KUTCHIE is a weed pipe, so why is it not mentionable?

People who brag about "being stoned" usually are all talk.

@AddisVids This is the internet my friend, nothing is out of bounds, but yeah, I know what your saying. I think kouchi is actually synonymous with duchtie, and the song is refered to as either. Kootchie with two os is of course slang for pussy... which is also slang I guess.

Yeah man, when most people think of pot music they think Bob Marley, but even more than Bob Marley, this sort of stuff really goes well with pot, its very relaxing and upbeat.
