I disagree with you about who's accountable. Beauchemin was not brought in to score points. He's a defensive defenseman. Sure he wasn't good at the beginning of the year, but he's been improving and starting to make some great defensive plays. Plus Minus can be misleading as well. When you're on a team that can't score much, your plus minus is going to be terrible. Blake deserves to be benched, but so does Grabovski, Hagman and Stempniak. We can't just let players off the hook.

Like what you said- But, not only Ron Wilson; the Leaf GM Brain Burke should also be held accountable. Even the Players believe Brian is going to do what he's going to do.
Simply put, the team should not be the ones getting slammed- they're only doing what their Coach and GM tell them to do. I mean come on, we're talking about a NHL team here- yet their playing like their in midget hockey....why? I know our boys have what it takes to win! But, Bruke & Wilson set them up to fail- intentionally.
