Most advanced strategy game what have ever been built. Simple as that. Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (sometimes abbreviated to SMAC or Alpha Centauri) is a turn-based strategic computer game created by Brian Reynolds and Sid Meier under the auspices of Firaxis Games in 1999. It is based on a fictional attempt by human beings to colonize a planet in the Alpha Centauri star system. It picks up where Meier and Reynolds' earlier titles, Civilization I and Civilization II, left off. It is way more complicated than any civilization series game have ever been. That's why it is the best game in the world.

I have not seen Your entire video, but I certainly agree with You: AC is one of the finest games ever made. Coming from the 1990s computer games world, I do agree that nowaways it is more important to have good visuals than a excellent gaming concept. AC is one of the exceptions to that rule.

@Canaris3 He is just a huge fan of a game without equipment. I would rather have true fan videos like this than polished videos from people that aren't fans and go into 1/100th the detail!

I have this AND Emperor of the Fading Suns, both are at the pinnacle of strategy gaming as far as I am concerned. Alpha Centauri had a much bigger budget, so is more 'approachable' but Empire of the Fading Suns is just as deep albeit with a longer learning curve. Both can give you 100's hours of gameplay...! Empire was released by Segasoft and developed by Holistic, it was released in 1996 and was based on a board game so has a very rich gameworld. Hope this helps.
