The blocks are hot from the sun, the water evaporates quite a bit, still a little too loose. Most mix it a lot thicker. they have premix down there now but everybody likes to mix it themselves. Dem Yardies can work der rasses all day in the HOT Sun.............NUFF RESPECT!!
I don't know anything about concrete, I need to replace a small section of my driveway so I'm looking at videos. Would their concrete be weak because they put so much water in it?
sorry jamaicans, but those negative comments have a sound basis...
but i know jamaican style construction, and you cannot change the water percentage since they pour the concrete with nothing less than buckets and sticks into those 6 inch block...
there are a lot of issues if you want to use stronger concrete, and still construct without machinery and a lot of manpower...

@rohanedmonson a Batch-Plant is a small concrete facility that is set up on-site.the concrete is mixed from scratch- gravel, sand ,cement & water.
