  • Not fighting , just disagreeing. Dislike whoever you want but if you state facts that just aren't true in a public forum, chances are someone might correct them. Like the fact that Letterman did indeed make fun of his own role in his embarrassing predicament during his confession/apology and then during monologues in the next couple of shows.

  • I used to watch the show. And yes, he would make superficial fun of himself. The fun h e chose to make - like fun of his hair (hair of an elderly man, very very well to do, least thing he has to worry about)... not things that are really embaressing for him, you know, like things that he will confront his interviewees with. I don't care anyway. Let's not fight. I'm done with my interest in David. I didn't like what I saw.

  • You either don't watch the show or it is over your head if you don't know that Dave makes light of himself ALL the time.

"as it has been proven" -hehe You're funny.

  • David has no irony for himself whatsoever...yeah, the show is ment to exclusively (- as it has been proven) rip other people apart... I call that perverse...and have surely quit watching it after David's scandal has shed light on the inequity of his humor.

  • What are you talking about? 90% of Letterman's humor is based on being self deprecating and that's why people like him. He's made fun of himself and the situation several times on the show.

Guests don't go on talk shows to "rip apart" the host. I think you have Late Night confused with Meet the Press.

  • i think leslie nielson is funnier in his movies than steve martin

  • funny how Dave didn't notice that Steve was wearing glasses....

    LMAO

  • bloodless episode with the issue being turned down so redicilously... Remember how David ripped apart Paris Hilton after her jail time..? and she a young fragile woman in front of the old man. If I was Steve Martin I would have ripped Dave apart for having cheated on his then girlfriend- wife today making it real comedy for the audience. Shame on rediculous David Letterman and his supporters for not being able to laugh about themselves...
