Yeray - Hay quien espera

A friend of mine asked me if I could make a song with an incredible poem he wrote...this is the result...hope u like it...
For those who can't speak spanish, "Hay quien espera" (some wait/some expect) is a song about expectations, dreams, hope...but also about unfilled dreams...sometimes we expect too much from life...sometimes we just comply, resign...we feel like we are stuck, thinking we can't reach our goals, and don't realize all the opportunities we lose every single day in front of our eyes...
We spend our time expecting...waitiing for something...

Hay quien espera (Some wait/ some expect)

Some waitburningly
The green sunover the trees
A distant point of earth
Or the sea in the horizon

Some expect fortune and some embark on
gambling games
Or some, without cartas (cards and charts) de navegación (nautical)
Expect a changeof the course, another direction
Some wait

Laughs and lipsevery weekend
Or words thatconnect to theirs
Or bodies to forgetin the routineof a Monday

Some expect treasures to knock on the door
Or open Balconies
In the middle of the night
Or mirrors that never show
The present-day
Some wait

Thieves that enterinto their blood
A roller coaster that removestheir foundations
Or a summerthat pays off the winter
Some wait

Second or thirdopportunities
Crossing off calendar days
Or the voice of the TVwhen arriving home
Some wait

Some dont expect anything
Some wait for the last time
And some just expect hopes
Some wait to rewrite their autobiography
And some just wait for a new life
With the same trains that they are losing in this one

Or that the desired melting finally comes
Or that the world ends
When theyre there to see it

Folded beside their hopes
Write with clearly handwriting
The senders name
