3D Rad Test

This is a small test I did in order to get aquainted with 3D Rads workflow. A simple menu and a one lap test run. I chopped off the loading time in between scenes, for time and file size's sake. :)

I Really want to make games with this, but the fact that you have to buy more packs to actually start making a good game annoys me. Is there a loophole around this?

@racerkid6980 You dont have to buy any packs or anything! ;) All you have to do is donate $5 to get the latest release, if not, you can download the latest "Free" one ;)

Nice! How did u get the camera view to keep changing like that once the race was over?

@MetallicDoom16 I had a couple of hidden skinmeshes in certain parts of the terrain, once the game finished, they were activated and every time the car "Touched" a specific one, it would activate a specific camera :)

Hey, does anybody know where I can find a good tutorial on how to use 3D Rad?

Get google sketchup

Create 3D model, like a sign and export

Create a car in 3DRad

Event on contact, to change the sign from static to dynamic rigidbody on contact

You just made a car able to run over a sign, done in 5 minutes...

How do you get the timer working for lap time?

Also I think you should either get rid of that number (speed) or scale it up because a top speed of 35 inst very impressive.
