New Castle Lite Ad - Can't Touch This!

South Africans will be tuning into more than football this month as Castle Lite launches its new television commercial featuring iconic rap star MC Hammer. The advertisement, narrated to Hammer's hit 'You Can't Touch This' features the singer leading the cast with a reprise of the brand's Ice Cold message. The commercial was filmed in late April on location in Johannesburg and airs from 7 June nationally.

Ja this video makes my blood boil whenever I see it - it's just so sad to still be punning on race to try make an ad work. The Vanilla Ice ad was brilliant, this is just some racist bullsh*t. The ad relies on a racial segregation undertone for meaning. Nice, responsible advertising for South Africa (not).
