Sophie Mirabella Confronts Her Opponents Over Demon Claims

Federal MP for Indi Sophie Mirabella was sledged in federal parliament after Mrs Mirabella had pointed out her opponent was a "man-hater". Her foe said and repeated claims that Mirabella's "evil thoughts would turn her (unborn) child into a demon." Perhaps the most exotic and nasty comment ever made in the federal parliament. And naturally Sophie Mirabella has in the thick of it, standing up for herself and for the values of decency for which she has always been known in Wangaratta and in her hometown of South Melbourne.
