Backstory: I was running late with an essay on "The International Response to Iran's Nuclear Activities" and thus ended up missing my friend Aaria's Christmas party that evening. In fact, I was such a scatter-brained douche, that I didn't even call. This is my melodic apology.

@bigdaddyjohnny59 Haha. Thank you so much. I may have talent, but I also have ridiculously high standards for myself. I'm scared if I post something else, it won't be as good as this song. Or it will be a cover (because I don't have anything else written) and then I will judge myself for not being original enough. It's a stupid, totally counterproductive psychological block I have created for myself. Would you have any advice? :P

@LucaSarcanin.... It sounds like you have the same problem I do. After 2 years years of recording myself, I have yet to post a video. I'm way too much of a perfectionist (and FAR from perfect)....lol. So my best advice to you is, don't do as I do, do as I say. Believe in yourself. I'm 51 years old, most of my life behind me, and I'm not going to start a music career at this point in my life. But you are young, you have your whole life ahead of you. Don't waste another day!

I *love* how you picked up the tempo right around the measure where "Youre all that really matters" is ending and "Aaria-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a" is beginning. That just somehow seems a stroke of genius to me. You really sound great and this is such neat song!! Good for you!
