  • A clue to your problem is when you show the clothes on the dryer shaking. Wherever you have your washer and dryer installed, the floor needs to be reinforced. The floor is acting like a spring board. If you can get to the underside of the floor, you can add extra reinforcement to lessen the "bounce". Another thing you can do is to add a sheet of 3/4" plywood under the washer and dryer. This problem is not unique to your washer/dryer. It's a problem with all the new high spin speed washers.

  • @mrbill200100 That is pretty much what the last service tech said. It is unfinished below the washer but I have not gotten around to trying to reinforce it yet. Still kind of crazy when the major selling point was the VRT, "Put it on your second floor!" Oh well, eventually I'll try to fix it I suppose.

  • Your SAMSUNG needs to be balanced. These tend to vibrate a little more on 2nd floor laundry room floors as opposed to being in the basement.

Rotate the legs with a level on top of the washer.

  • That was the first thing I did. I spent a great deal of time leveling it until the bubble wasn't even the slightest bit offset. I swear NASA would be impressed with how level this thing is.

  • @mrbill200100 I have same problem with the vibrations on my washer, but I think it is not balanced correctly. I had the delivery guys coming out to install them (two nasty people who just slammed and pulled like crazy), I almost thought they broked them. Don`t even know if they connected everything well, did not like for me to watch them installing and I was too stupid not to argue....

    I am so disappointed...

  • i got the same problems before and i put a piece of plywood under the dryer and the problems go out for a little bit , after few months the plywood start to smell bad and somebody gived to me a piece of thin granite big eghnout to put washer and dryer on top and all the problems was done . is almoust 3 years and i have no problems

  • What happens, when you spin a full load of laundry?

  • I live in the UK and all our washers are front loaders. Ours don't vibrate at all but can be noisy at high spin (mine is 1600rpm) especially when the spin is out-of-balance, this is just down to the type of suspension used. The machines in the UK also have space inside for the drum to move around in so it doesn't move the casket at all.

I much prefer front loaders as they clean very well, use less electricity and water, and are more gentle on the fabric.

I've seen videos on here of problemati

  • It seems Samsung has far less vibration than LG. Check out this guy's LG: xObrJF1n65g

  • Someone could tell me if it's possible of course: Which washer dryer machine combo is better? Samsung or LG :( ?

  • Love it! Glad to know that people are getting front loaders now :) I wonder if people like top loaders more than front loaders O_o

  • Keep in mind your washer has a 1300 RPM spin speed. At that high of a spin speed there is going to be vibration, that is normal. ConceptVBS hit it right on the nail when he said Vibration Reduction, not elimination. I was actually impressed by the little amount of vibration you are getting at that high of a spin speed. You bought one of the best washers made. You are unhappy because your expectations are unrealistic. Dishwashers are quiet, clothes washers are not.

  • Those are normal vibrations....i have many washing machines...and even if the are all leveled up, they vibrate a little bit. The new washing machines era not comparable to the old ones: the new have a much bigger drum, spin faster...much faster....and a little bit of vibrations will not kill the machine that has been projected even for that...I like Samsung a lot...like LG or Hoover....
