The RSPCA did the right thing. This cow was suffering - and for what exactly? Religious beliefs? pft.. It' sad the world allows animals to suffer for the sake of religion..

well that sucks .

The RSPCA are a despicable and very RICH charity. They have I am lead to believe £10. million on deposit! They are NOT your friends.
No one controls them. Support other Animal rescue and help charities, but do not give any more cash to these terrible people.

the killing of any animal is grotesque.

haribol
These actions show the true colours of the RSPCA who are meant to save animals not kill them. The RSPCA are cowards, they killed Gangotri while devotee's were doing worship. They could have worked out a solution with the temple. After promising that they won't kill the sacred cow they betrayed us and murdered Gangotri. This is the second animal they have killed the bull in Wales and now Gangotri, 2 perfectly normal animals and these so called protectors assassinated these animals

Hari Bol. This murder was almost idenical to one in Wales earlier this year. A bull in Skanda Vale (Carmarthenshire, Wales) was murdered despite being perfectly healthy. MEAT = MONEY to these cretins.

In their mistaken notion that killing is superior to suffering the RSPCA are transgressing their own stated code that all animals be allowed to live a natural life. Why that also doesn't mean allowing a pet animal to die a natural death? Is their compassionate concern for someone else's pet always superior to that of the pet owner, who may simply want the pet to live as long as possible? Which UK charity law has given them the power over life and death?

This should be sad news for all. RSPCA's current stance means - and they are trying to increase their powers - is that nobody will be allowed to care for their pets beyond the point of their owner being able to guarantee recovery. Of course, many owners choose to have their pets put down by the local vet, but that is a choice. If reported to the RSPCA you would no longer have that choice.

A sad day for the monks. RSPCA and Police could have worked this out by talking and finding some solution
RSPCA is supposed to stand for prevention of cruelty. What the RSPCA have actually done is prevent the loving care that was being doted on this loved creature, and trampled all over the gentle beliefs of this community. The RSPCA have perpetrated cruelty and indignity upon this animal and those that cared for her.

I think society has been brainwashed to believe that all suffering animals must be killed. It's just to convenient and antiseptic.
