This is one of the best metal docs ever made. Just to be fair, I bought it. Hey, it was $9, why not? I like the line "If you don't feel the power and your neck hair doesn't stand up, you may never get it." Awesome line. This is why you should never bash ANY metal bands on YouTube. Even the gagrage band that sounds like shit. At least they're trying and keeping metal alive. Peace.

Don't regret it a single bit...

I started liking heavy metal as kid because of the music and pictures van halen, from 1978 to 1984 still do, but now i listen to death metal to black metal but never liked that Grunge thing but I do like punk

I've got this DVD (one of my favorites). My only complaint for this documentary, is that it wasn't long enough. If they could have added interviews by Ozzy Osbourne, Phillip Anselmo, Rob Halford, Zach Wilde, Vinnie Paul, then it would feel more complete. None the less, still a DVD. Maybe in the future they can make more of these documentary style movies.

I have a hand signed theatrical poster signed by Sam Dunn and Scott McFadyen that I got in person.
I was at a by invite only screening of Metal A Head Bangers Journey and partied with both of the guys who made this movie. Been a dedicated follower of their films ever since.

This scene makes me cry every time I see it. And it reminds me of when I saw Arch Enemy and people started singing along the chorus to Nemesis. Thousands of people, singing their heart out: "One for all, all for one. We are strong, we are one." I had never felt as accepted and loved as I felt at that exact moment. Thank you all the metalheads, the ones I met and the ones I've yet to meet, thank you for just being there.
