  • This is one of my all time favorite TV Specials. See also Raquel do The Space Dance, from this Special. There are a few songs from this and Ann-Margret's '68 TV Special on a DVD called VaVaVoom.

  • The VaVaVaVoom DVD is indeed where I nabbed these from...

  • Does anyone know who designed the costumes ??? simply amazing...Raquel is my Mayan goddess for 2012

  • You are correct, it is the singing voice of

TINA COLE who co-starred on the old tv show MY THREE SONS, and often sang with her cousins. At the time of the RAQUEL WELCH TV SPECIAL, the producers did not feel that Raquel's voice was quite up to par, so Tina Cole was called in to do most of the singing for her. Strange, but true - later on in her career, Raquel sang for herself and did pretty well - but it's Tina Cole singing here.

  • @jill5dx Costume by Bob Mackie

  • Through 21st century eyes it looks like "Raquel goes to Burning Man".

Seriously though, what a piece of ass she is. That is one smokin' cunt right there.

  • This is an artistic spin on the 3-Dimension's song. And it IS a costume/dance from 1970....with a beauty that could sell the water that she drinks...even today!

  • As silly as all this is, Teotihuacan never looked better, or more the setting for some obscure mystical rite... and Raquel is an icon. Creativity was un-restrained i those days. But it is all pretty silly.

I think I recognize the solar and lunar pyramids. I wonder why the director didn't use the memorable Quetzalcoatl?

  • how did anyone unlike this?

  • @tymime Artistic licence!
