@deltamaxhalo yes and no. Suzaku is the Japanese name for the Vermilion Bird of the south in the Chinese constellations. The phoenix in final fantasy type 0 happens to be based off the same thing.

I doubt the opponent predicted a Swords Dance on the Qwilfish since it's illegal with Intimidate as far as I know.

Qwilfish can only learn Swords Dance via Gen 3 tutor.
