Sorry but NO for those people in debt once borrowed valuable money from people who had some as an investment. They could so on the promis they would pay it back together with the compromised interest.

The creditors borrowed their money to get some more value in return. High inflation is would make their return worthless and is a theft to people who saved money by those borrowing money and living above their means. Don't borrow something if you want to return it only half.
