I wasn't treated until I was 22. It's had a massive affect of my confidence and social life but it's getting better, now I just have one injection every three months.

im 14 and 4ft .9 /4.9 do you think i got time to grow ? im in puberty i have mood swings and i have pubic hair btw im a boy !! please reply and i have diabetes do you think that might be delaying it ?

@charlieccc15. 14 is probably still a little young to worry about delayed / absent puberty UNLESS you have no sense of smell and / or you had un-desecended testicles at birth. You still have plenty of time to grow, the growth spurt happens later in puberty. If you reach 15 and have had no growth / development of the genitals then I think you should seek medical advice on the possibility of delayed puberty. At 14 you are still at the normal age, just a later starter than some others.
