@freeze131: Hm, actually I didn't guess he was the baddy (which he wasn't anyway). Maybe because all the other superheros were psychopaths (The Comendian, Rorschach) and did so many horrible things in person. So compared to them he was still the good guy.

I guess theres some liability. There just wasn't enough room. If they expanded Ozy's past it would become clearer of the motive that made him committ that.

I agree. I hope that there might be a deleted scene with Ozymandias and Manhattan.
I thought Ozy had too less time in the film. and some of his best scenes were cut out.
Also, Tales of the Black Freighter was a good parallel to Ozy so I'm happy that's in the extended cut.

He succeeded in creating a better place. It just came at a great cost and in the end, began to question the morals of his action which to me Snyder left out what epic quote from Dr. Manhattan. Veidt trys to reassure himself and asks Jon that he did the right thing in the end. and Jon replies "nothing ever ends" when Laurie says it: it is absolutely anti-cimatic and no meaning over it. Dr manhattan has an extraordinary amount of wisdom and the tone of his voice makes it that much better.

Thats what I thought too but I believed his acting sucked

I have to disagree. You're right about the age thing, definitely. But I mean, it was clear that movie!Ozymandias was in great shape because he kicked the asses of three vigilantes in one shot. The suit was very muscular.
And I think the whole ending sets up the ambiguity of Adrian's morals. He killed thousands, but saved the world. You can see that he had his heart in the right place, just not his head.
Mathew Goode wasn't great as ozymandias. Acting was good. But misportrayed. Ozymandiaz/Adrian Veidt is a 40 year old at the peak of human fitness very muscular much bigger than Matthew goode. He is meant to make much more appearances and is meant to look like a good guy. In the movie it was very obvious that he was evil.

I don't think it was as obvious, although they should've shown his character more, and gave him a more broken, depressed character.

Why would he be depressed, in the Graphic novel their was never a clear indication that he was even slightly depressed over his parents deaths. I think they should've shown a deeper story in veidt. He was trying to accomplish something which is idol, Alexander the Great attempted this but failed. Veidt based his idea of this.

Not over his parents death.
Maybe not depressed, but disappointed over himself.
He wanted to save the world and make it a better place and never accomplished that.
I would've liked more body language from Veidt. In the film, I was fine with the accent, but it made him harder to understand as a character and I thought it'd make the audience feel disconnected from him and become suspicious.
