You could tell in "That's Entertainment 3" that Debbie did not like this version but honestly I like it a lot better than the more formal scene. Even the vocals sound better!

Amazing..the high point in a lower shelf MGM musical and it winds up on the cutting room floor. Were studio suits ever stupider?

@paulb6364 What are you talking about? This *is* an outtake. This is a musical number cut from the film. It is common and standard to refer to a musical number cut/deleted from a musical film before release to be called an "outtake".
