Top 3 Rides at the Santa Cruz Beach Board Walk in Northern California.

#3 Double Shot - drop Zone sort of ride: Goes up and drops very quickly. A Fun thing to do on this ride is hold a small object (a penny works fine and it is safe) in your hand and when the ride drops the small object will float in mid air right by your face but don't forget to grab it before you reach the bottom.

#2 FireBall - Ground lowers down. Ride swings back in forth and spins at the same time. It's best to sit across from your friends so you can see the joy in their faces. This ride is quite the amuser and usually gets everyone hyped up after they go on it.

#1 The Giant Dipper - One of the first wooden roller coasters. Take a ride through history and don't miss your chance to ride the Giant Dipper. Fun things to do before you get on the ride is stick your hand out and give people "high 5s" as their coaster comes back into the station. There is a camera on the ride right after the first turn on the left side that takes your picture. Make a funny face or whatever it is you want to do (FYI if you flip off the camera it will not show your picture), then you can laugh at it once the ride is done and then jump right back in line to ride again.

If you are going to Santa Cruz I recommend you go on these three rides before you leave. Also don't limit yourself to just these three. The bumper cars, ghost blasters, and the log ride are also really fun.

They also have one of the coolest miniature golf courses inside Neptune's castle.

jojo is soo crazy! thats all santa cruz, been going since the 70s. first ride is giant dipper?! the 3rd ride is the giant dipper and trust me nowhere in the world is there a boardwalk with that type of wooden roller coaster with those colors and angles of the beach.
