Technology codes our minds, changes our OS. Apple products have done this extensively. The video shows how magazines are now useless and impossible to understand, for digital natives. It shows real life clip of a 1-year old, growing among touch screens and print. And how the latter becomes irrelevant. Medium is message. Humble tribute to Steve Jobs, by the most important person : a baby.

  • Steve Jobs did it? Nah, you just failed at parenting.

  • Steve Jobs has NOT coded part of your baby's OS...you have done that by allowing her to play with iPad before teaching her what a book or a magazine is!! She wouldn't know anything about iPads if you hadn't given her one to play with and to explore before giving her books!

  • Cute! But could have done without the last statement. I wish you would let her use other mediums besides the iPad. Even though tablets are what's going to be used for many realms of literary education, a well-rounded individual is exposed to many forms of media. Never exposing her or teaching her how to use other things is detrimental to a baby of this intelligence. Steve Jobs also was a businessman, not involved with coding or manufacturing Apple stuff. That's for kids in China's factories.

  • She is so cute!

  • Steve Jobs did not code much of anything. He was just a salesman in a black turtleneck and jeans that gave good presentations.

  • what is this? you're supposed to start your kids off with NES, and have them earn their way to angry birds.

  • uselss parent.

  • Failed parenting = not teaching your kid about the technology that they will be using for the rest of their lives while things like paper books slowly become obsolete.

Failed parenting =/= refusing to accept times are changing.

No one gets mad at parents for letting their children play with cellphones instead of a quill pen and a bottle of ink, do they?

  • We think this is adorable. Love the part where she tests her finger on her leg. Absolutely gorgeous daughter and very smart. I'm not sure I would check to see if it was my finger that wasn't working when the magazine-ipad wasn't responding.

  • THIS Ladys and Gentleman is what you call FAILED PARENTING :D

  • @MadsTrolleDK But then you shouldnt flame about "not knowing what books are" And i think the media education got failed there.

  • This is pathetic
