Crocodile Rock is quintessential Dee Murray. He can still teach us all a thing or two or three about 1970's bass playing, making a great yet simple tune interesting from start to finish. I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing him and Niles Olson in 1968. As always, use headphones.
Very well done! I always loved listening to Dee grind that axe, he was one of the greats.
May he forever rest in peace.

Sweet bass playing! I loved Dee Murray's bass playing. To say that he was underrated would be putting it mildly. He was one of my favourite bass guitar players.

Nice. I'm really impressed by Dee Murray's playing. I just stumbled across the man's genius accidentally while listening to the bass on ' I guess that's why they call it blues '. This is the first video I could find with mention of his name. Great that you mentioned him by name for this. It's also very obvious that you know your way around a bass. Very nice job.
