I've used the acne.org products once and rigth after i applied BP my skin was sooo red and it burnt like thousand wasps and my face was swollen a bit...:( I was so dissapointed...did i do sth wrong? i want to try it again cuz accutane helped me only for a year. how did BP affected your skin?

@Puella992 You need to go in with very little and only at night. BP is very potent so starting off slowly is so so so important. I don't know how much I can emphasize this. My skin also became very red and irritated. You need to fight through it. It's worth it in the end. Also, if your skin becomes OVERLY irritated, it's okay to skip a day in between sometimes. Just fight through! And get a better moisturizer if you need to!

how do take your makeup off when you are going to use the cleanser from the system if you can only wash your face for 10 seconds? it usually takes me about washes to get my skin clean

I just placed my order! My acne has spread all over my face but mostly they are under the skin bumps, tiny little bumps under my skin on my forehead, so I hope this helps. I do have hyperpigmentation on both sides of my cheeks, does this product help at all?

@tamarajay91 No, BP will not help with hyperpigmentation. Only products with hydroquinone can aid with hyperpigmentation, but even that is not efficient. Honestly, time heals a lot. I have a separate video about this!

Do you think using this system combined with antibiotics and the contraceptive pill would be beneficial? I'm using a BP system at the moment (not the acne.org one, though I want to try it), and it helps, I just feel the results could be better. Is there a reason you didn't use any other medication, or was it just preference?

I used this for a few days but it broke me out even more and places where i just used the moisturizer only got irritated n dry as well!!!! I don't know if i should try it again coz' it just gave me more acne n even more dryness??

@tamarajay91 I'm certainly not an expert but I have some personal experience with hyperpigmentation - what helps me is a niacinamide serum mixed with vitamin C powder for pigmentation, applied on top of a glycolic acid serum/product :) however I wouldn't use this while treating your acne, only after! Just some info for when you can focus on treating pigmentation. Oh and sunscreen every day or the pigmentation will last longer!

Im planning on trying this since benzoyl peroxide works good on my skin , currently I'm using tea tree but it's ok . I have bad moderate acne :/ and I hate how I look now that it's taken over my life, when before I could cover up my acne and not many would notice now my face is all bumpy and scarred . I bought the cleanser but I'm planning to but the benzoyl peroxide very soon , I just want to test out the cleanser if I'm not allergic , thanks for this review !:)

@janne5000 Yes, very dry and red, especially in the first 3 weeks. Subsiding depends on the individual, but typically people start adjusting towards the end of the first month. and yes, as long as your products are good, 2.5% BP should be able to treat you,
