Big dunk from Gino over the Suns in a great game from the Spurs vs the Suns in 2005. In my other videos is the big finish from the game.

  • Saw this game live on ESPN, The Suns had started out something like 30-4 to begin the season and then dropped 5 straight coming into this game when Nash wasn't playing, this was his first game back and the Suns had a huge lead by the end of the third period, up like 17. Ginobili put the Spurs on his back, tied it up and then won it in overtime. This dunk was incredible and yet no one ever talks about it, because he isn't a NBA/Nike approved "star", easily the best in traffic dunk this decade.

  • @aligborat

was this dunk @ Phoenix bettern than his one @ LA?

Anyway this dunk did seize the moment, he scored 48 in the game, with Barry tieing the game with 2 3's within 40 seconds left to go in the game, it was crazy

  • Bill Walton is 100% correct. HE JUST TORCHED 3 AllStars!!! (idk if Marion ever got 1 or not...i think so...anybody know for sure???)

  • @spursbucswhitesoxfan

    Marion is a 4-time all-star, in 2003, 2005, 2005 and 2007

  • I also remember watching this game either in later January or early February back in '05. this has always been one of the best games i've ever seen. the 2005 spurs' squad was probably their best to date. they beat the defending champs in seven games that year!

  • I remember watching this game, Ginobili just torched three All-Stars.

  • haters just want to bitch about manu flopping but forget about him being able to do things like this lol. forget the lopping and shit, hes a damn good player he didnt accomplish what hes has in basketball just being a so called flopper. haters are funny.

  • @woutakasinistra Saw both games live, the dunk against L.A. was just pure speed, he blew by the two Lakers and then split two others ( Although they both collided with him. ) , but on this one he just attacked the basket with power as well and was also fouled by Marion pretty clearly although the refs didn't call it. This was more impressive because you really got a sense of how high he can jump when he really wants to show off, like he did with the blocks on Wade and Durant.

  • @markeeeymark Actually, KG got the AS game MVP in that year(2003), and MJ's shot wasn't the game winner, the West tied it up on two Kobe FT's and won in Double OT.

  • @nelsonmrqz10

Shawn Marion was an All-Star during Michael Jordan's last All-Star Game. Jordan got MVP and made the game winning fade away over Shawn Marion, which seems appropriate.

All of his All-Star appearances were with the suns. I think he was a 20/10 guy back then.

  • @woutakasinistra really??? marion made 4 all stars??? That's crazy...what teams did he do it with. I take it...Suns, Mavs, and Heat???
