A session with my friend Paul recorded Saturday Nov 22 2004 in my basement suite apartment in Burnaby. The amazing thing here is Paul had just heard the tune, I had been practising it but we just ran through it cold turkey. I messed up on the lyrics a bit but hey, I'm an amature.
this sounds so like an old gospel song, that I am stunned, thank you for this song. Many people feel this when they lose their parents, then sibings, too.My grandmother, died in 1990,used to tell me how she felt; this is very much the way she her described life, surviving all of her family, even her only son, my Dad. My Mom outlived my Dad by 40 years, lost a newborn baby, and when I lost her, I felt like an orphan..I understood a bit, especially when my younger brother died last year...RIP
