UPDATE!

i tested this game to my modern rig (see my channel for my rig) with "Windows 7 64 bit" it works without any issue i ran it like normal without Administrator Rights and OS compatibility Mode, the game is not even patched to any latest version and probably it well work with "Vista" too ..

Enjoy the video everything is set to Max on setting except for resolution was set on 800x600 and x4 anti aliasing featuring antique Videocard Geforce Fx 5500 256MB (AGP) and Pentium 4 HT 3.0ghz Thanks for watching...

The Good

One of the good on the game was the Physics it has a good physics on environmental that also you can so to throw or make some decoy noise to distract your enemies
, you go play Hide and Seek with A.I's you can stalk around to darkest areas as your advantages like an Assassin way xD , its free to raom around the areas to sneak and steal peoples variable treasure to make money and buy some items and arrows or maybe some bottle of oil throw it on the ground and set it on fire to create a flame wall , the graphic was good its really suit up with the atmosphere , and the best of all some A.I has good dialogue reaction like when you thrown something to them , heard some noise , saw some shadows or movement from distance , while they walking around , and when you steal their bag of coins, they randomly chatting each others with different dialogues and funny humor..

The Bad:

sometimes your enemies is so careless to get killed an stuck while chasing you no matter how hard the difficulty is still the same the only changes is how close they hear, see, health and damage, the game is actually not total freeroam its like big map in big boxed stage there's nothing you can do around the city but just stalking around the corners to reach your destination , there is a house in the city but still most of them are closed so far i only see 2-3 open houses to break in to steal something, some are enterable but it requires loading screen , you can't even claim or go on roof but there's certain areas that you can claim like when the game is almost finished you buy or get some special gloves to claim on designated walls but not every walls though , the game is too short..

Overall: although with the good and the bad about the game is still good to play with as made in 2004 ..as for Thief 4 still in development i hope it PWNS! its been 7 years from now i bit they already know alot i hope they don't messed up as Modern gameplay of Thief 4

UPDATES: jesus what's wrong with higher gamma? the default gamme gives almost pitch black after recording using FRAPS (ever tried using FRAPS before?!#$) otherwise if stick to that default gamma i would recieve a same comment anyway..and this video was not made for walkthrough or anything for gaming skills that you can have you sissy reason to judge out of this gameplay but it was made to show you how the junk Geforce FX 5500 can handle this game!...

  • It's the Medieval version of Splinter Cell! :)

  • This game is Greatest thing I played like EVER !

First game of Thief series I played was Thief Deadly Shadows ( 3 )

Garret Owns, and for me in-game story is fantastic, Garret as character is great too

You learn how to approach different enemies, you use shadow as your main weapon and not an fucking rocket launcher or somethin..

    Thief OWNS and I can't wait 4th game ;)

    Peace
