@1974nyarlathotep all except for the fact that it has no pushrods... it is a DOHC motor and the valves are driven right off the cam.

how much does it cost to fix that cause my car make the same noise like that one on the video and it a 2.4 twin cam pointiac grand am 1997. and can that be fix also if there any one there who know thanks.

Damn, hurts to hear that. And yeah, we hear that. Check both of your camshafts and your valves one by one. You have 16 of them, so be patient. They could be knocking or sticking. Have you ever run it without oil?

yeah man was the cam on of the lifters
was damaged
