yeah ok so she isn't an old original bluesman. Guess what they're all dead except honeyboy maybe. She is keeping that music alive.you may not like her as good as robert johnson or tommie johnson etc but why hate? At least she has true talent. She's not using studio tricks. Go hate on taylor swift or Bieber or someone else that's all hype and no talent.

Well, the blues has always been about feeling more than anything. It never concerned itself with technical perfection. I think thats the beauty of it personally.

Blues is alot of things to alot of people. And she's got plenty of original music to her credit. Five WC Handy Awards, the latest being the 2007 Acoustic Album of the Year (The Lady and Mr. Johnson), oughta tell you something.
