@shahidinterliner because persian was language of knowledge & mogols lived side by side with turkic & iranic people... so they forgot their mongolian & started to speak turkic & iranic... Timur & Babur considered themselves as turkic people...

@shahidinterliner Babur had nothing to do with tajiks.. turko-mongol may be with persian mix... his paternal line was mongolian, mother line was turkic-persian... he was from barlas tribe

@aizhan1001 Babur actually wasn't pure turkic, he was mix of iranian & mongolian as well... his tribe/clan was "barlas"

@aizhan1001 I dont know in which part of the world you live and what ethnic group is yours......but Babut...temur...Qublai Khan.....ISmail samani.....Yakub Beg...non of them knew arabic accept Quran....they all knew 2 languages...Turkic and Persian

@shahidinterliner Turkish=/=Turkic. Turkic people ruling Persians knew their language, of course. I think, they could also know Arabian.

@shahidinterliner and remember we Tajik and Turk people have one mother land..... and that is called Eastern and Wetern Turkestan.So many people get confuse with that.
