The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Western Michigan chapter proudly presents the 2010 ACG Cup. ACG Cup is a case study competition designed to give students from leading Western Michigan MBA programs real world experience and invaluable insight into mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, financial advisory and private equity.
ACG Cup enables ACG members and sponsors to forge closer relationships with the leading business schools as well as potential recruits in our region, while introducing the next generation of business leaders to the premier M&A, corporate growth and corporate development community.
Teams from each school analyze complex business cases and present strategies including valuations, identifying capital markets, developing merger/acquisition strategic alternatives and financing options. Prominent professionals from the corporate community and ACG membership apply their industry expertise as judges for the competition. Round One will be held in late January 2010 and advancing teams will compete in Round Two, held in late February 2010. The winning team will be announced at the ACG Outstanding Growth Awards reception in March 2010.
