A legendary voice of legendary durability - is this the greatest Boris? Chilling. Magnificent. And yes, there's video of his Gremin aria (from a Bolshoi celebration of his birthday) at age 90. Stupefying. I just saw Domingo sing Oreste at age 70 and thought THAT a miracle... I don't think this is Soviet flim-flam...I don't think either the great Reizen or the great Pirogov ever sang outside the USSR. It's another YouTube miracle that we can enjoy and help perpetuate these wonderful artists.

I believe Mark Reizen's 90th birthday performance earned him a place in the Guinness Book of Records but I'd have to check it out to confirm. Truly remarkable!
