  • Sista, you're deep! Loved the knowledge. I wasn't even aware of female Shamans! Your chant is beautiful. Would you tell me what sites or channels I could refer to for chanting. Love ya, Thanks!! Kathryn.

  • I love bringing forth information and when I get comments such as this, it warms my WombHeart. The chant is something that just comes through me. It is never the exact same, so I guess I need to record them from now on and have my beloved do his thing to post them here on You Tube. :-) Thanks for the love!

  • Thank you Marquetta and you are welcome. I feel it is important to bring, as you say, balance to an age old tradition that holds great power and promise for women.

  • beautiful... i needed this

  • Nice video on the basics of what it means to be a 'shaman'. I've been researching this ancient spiritual-cultural phenomenon and am fascinated by the little known female origins of this practice. I have learned much from authors like Barbara Tedlock and Max Dashu. The very word shaman originates from the Chukchi people of northeastern Siberia but very few know that most Chukchi shaman are women or that they have an old saying that 'woman by nature is a shaman'. A pity this is not commonly known!

  • Yes, it is coming, it is here in us. Thank you Diva Mama Tonya!
